I spent my year as Miss Oshkosh spreading breast cancer awareness. Not only did it give me hope for the cause but it also gave me a unique perspective for my future patients. As a current medical student, I think back on my reign with a smile on my face. Everyone I met encouraged me on my path to become a physician, and I will never forget them or the families. This experience has made me a better person, and a better provider for healthcare in our future.

“The poise, confidence and maturity I gained during my year of service have been invaluable to me both personally and professionally. I am grateful to have had the incredible opportunity to represent the Oshkosh community and for the many friendships I made along the way."
Desiree

2007
"I can confidently say that I would not be the person I am today without the people and experiences who contributed to my year of service as Miss Oshkosh. It's an enriching year to be supported by an amazing community and I am honored to have served them and to educate others on being an Organ and Tissue donor!"
Tosha Herrman
2008
“Not only is the Miss Oshkosh Pageant a great learning experience, it also is a chance to meet young women in the community and make friends that will last a lifetime”.
Chelsea Hammett
2009
“Being able to represent my hometown during my year of service was truly an honor. I am so thankful for the opportunities I was given and the people I met through out my reign. It honestly was the year of a lifetime!”
